Join our 2025-2026 YOUTH WRESTLING TEAM!
Raymore-Peculiar Youth Wrestling is proud to be one of the oldest and largest youth wrestling programs in Missouri. For decades, our program has built a foundation of success for athletes of all ages — from beginners just stepping on the mat, to champions competing at the highest levels.
This season, we are excited to welcome back former Ray-Pec State Champions Mark Ellis and William Forrest to lead practices.
Coach Ellis went on to win a National Championship at the University of Missouri.
Coach Forrest became a 2X NCAA All-American at University of Central Missouri.
Both coaches bring unmatched experience, passion, and leadership, helping young wrestlers learn the sport while developing character, discipline, and confidence.
They will be joined by:
Cody Johnston, Varsity Boys Head Wrestling Coach and Mizzou Wrestling Alumni
Drew Shaul, Varsity Girls Head Wrestling Coach
Brannon Beck, 2X Ray-Pec State Place-Winner, who will work specifically with our 5–6 year olds
Ray-Pec High School Wrestling Staff and Wrestlers
Together, this staff provides some of the best coaching in the state, ensuring every wrestler — from beginners to advanced competitors — receives quality instruction and mentorship.
